After Windows 10 Anniversary Update in 2016 BlueStacks has been facing compatibility issue with Windows 10. I'm wondering if Bluestacks will update to fix this, or if it's something that'll have to be run each time I want to run Bluestacks.BlueStacks has compatibility issue with Windows 10. I opt out by pressing F3 or the windows key and voila, bluestacks run like a charm. The way to turn it off is to run the following command on cmd as admin:Ĭopy %WINDIR%\System32\SecConfig.efi X:\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\SecConfig.efi /Yīcdedit /create device partition=X:Įxit, restart and it will ask if you want to opt out of Credential Guard Tool (I don't opt out of this one, because this one does not run the conflict) and when it come to opting out of the Virtualization Based Security tool (here's where the conflict lies) The issue/conflict runs with Virtualization Based Security tool. It possible that the configuration remained? And if that's the case do I need to downgrade back to 8.1 to fix that and reinstall Windows 10 again?Īnd if Windows Defender is the cause, is it possible to turn if off for a while without risking any malware? I don't have extra anti-malware software so I am basically depending with just that for my Laptop. But still, I've done a complete wipe for the fresh installation of Windows 10. But before that I tried using VirtualBox when I still had it with Windows 8.1. The thing is I haven't installed any virtualization software since I updated it to Windows 10. I have tried to check for updates again and none shows.

I have already tried updating my BIOS, drivers and all just this February 24, and still got nothing. I have already ran BlueStacks, it's just that the notification is still there and it says that I can really enhance the performance of the emulator using VT-x and I've searched that SLAT is not really needed so, please disregard that for now.
